They needed a cutting solution that could deliver precision and cleanliness at a production scale.

A large life science company and long-time customer, focused on providing state-of-the-art tools and components for health, science, and research, needed a better way to label cylindrical filters. Their existing process was proving to be a challenge on the production floor. Lehnen engineered a coding solution that fit the task in a 2’x3′ footprint.

Badger’s lip balms are among their top-selling products, with thousands produced in a single day. As a manufacturer making a wide variety of products, they needed filling flexibility without relying on contract manufacturers. Lehnen’s ProFill SF platform brought high-throughput lip balm production in-house in a compact footprint.

MilliporeSigma needed a way to accurately and consistently cut multiple diameters of medical grade tubing to precise lengths. Standard off-the-shelf cutters could not handle the tacky materials or the range of sizes required. Lehnen engineered the first automated cutting solution that delivers precision without alcohol, water, or compressed air.
