Lehnen Industrial provides process control technology and custom machinery for science and industry.  While our focus is primarily in the life science sector, our experience and capabilities cover a wide range of applications and industries. Located in the heart of New England, we are easily accessible to the entire life science corridor stretching from Maine to Boston’s BioHub.

President and Lead Designer, Peter Lehnen, is the driving force behind the company. Peter was born in Germany, but spent most of his formative years in Florida. He grew up in his father’s machine shop and dreamed of being an engineer since age 3. He secured his first patent one year out of high school, and never looked back. Years later, Peter and his family moved to New Hampshire and, in 2001, founded Lehnen Industrial Services, Inc.

Since then, Lehnen Industrial has grown organically from a one-man, one-customer-at-a-time venture to a multi-million dollar a year enterprise with twenty full-time employees. And, we are continuing to grow in response to increasing customer demand!

Lehnen Industrial’s contribution to the industry is simple. “We solve hard problems in manufacturing,” said Peter, “and we are committed to investing in continuous improvement.”

Peter built his company on the core values and guiding principles of responsibility, caring, and a dedication to furthering the general good. Those values have been at the heart of every business decision, and have led the company to their heavy involvement in the life science and medical device industries. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, knowing the work we do is helping to improve the collective human condition is deeply rewarding.
